Even with one of them performing a core sample. As you can imagine I was completely taken aback by the prices projected. That said, I was going to pick one and more forward. Luckily, Santiago from SLOG Group cold called me asking if I still needed a quote, I expressed that I already had four and everyone told me the same thing, which was that I needed a new roof. I didn’t want to waste anymore time. He was insistent on coming to provide me his own assessment about the repairs that my roof probably needed and explained that roofers always want to do a tear off replacement, even when not necessary. So I agreed because he said he could come the next day. He came the very next day as promised. I was ecstatic that he would come so soon. Next, doing his inspection, he expressed that I, in fact, did NOT need a complete tear off, but rather had a couple of pitch problems toward the internal drains that could be corrected to avoid the pooling that was happening. He also did a core sample and gave me a completely different assessment than the other company did. Further, while on my roof he filled a hole that was creating a leak into my bedroom. Yes, even prior to him getting the job. At that point, I knew this was the company for me, honest and transparent. Needless to say, they did the job quickly and flawlessly; and customer service was impeccable. Maria was my point of contact and she was very responsive to any concerns or questions I needed answered. Because of their actions and attention to detail, I would recommend them to anyone who needs a roofing job. They explained to me the different roofing options available within my budget. I’m so happy I went with them. I will definitely call SLOG Group when it’s time for maintenance and eventual replacement, hopefully far in the future. Thank you !!!
